Step 2: Scare up haunted candies

The first step is gathering Haunted Candies- these little sweet treats are your ticket to summoning Haunted Puzzles. Here’s how you can collect them:

Explanation

Introducing Battleground

Battleground is one of the two PvP features in Summoners Arena: Idle RPG. Unlike Arena, which requires NFT heroes to participate and compete, Battleground is completely free to play and earn as you can use non-NFT heroes to fight against other players.

Battleground is unlocked when you reach level 10 and complete Stage 2-1 in Campaign.

How to play

Step 1: Focus on building up combat power through:

• Heroes: Summon, evolve & upgrade

• Summoners: Upgrade

• Equipment: Collect equipment sets & upgrade

• Other power-up features

Step 2: Head to the Battleground in the main interface > Arena > Battleground.

Step 3: Pick 5 heroes to Attack/Defend. The Attack and Defend lineup can be different and you can change your Summoner as well.

Step 4: Click on Battle and observe the fight. If you win, you will gain ELO. If you lose, your ELO will be deducted.

Rise to the top to get promoted and win precious rewards.

Battleground Ticket

Each attempt to fight will consume 01 Battleground Ticket. For every 2 hours, players will be given a FREE Battleground Ticket, up to 12 FREE tickets every day.

Battleground Ticket can also be bought with ASG. The prices vary depending on the League the player is in.

Note:

• Once reaching the limit of 10 tickets, players cannot receive free tickets anymore

• The maximum number of bonus tickets players can obtain daily is 30

Professional Esports Model

The competitive scene is divided into 5 leagues, including a different numbers of players:

• Master (the highest tier): 100 players

• Diamond: 200+ players

• Gold: 300+ players

• Silver: 500+ players

• Bronze: 1000+ players

Promotion and Relegation mechanic

The event runs for 04 consecutive seasons, starting on Monday and ending on Sunday.

Player rankings at each season's conclusion dictate promotions and demotions based on previous results.

Leagues are influenced by 03 criteria: Total players in each league, promotion/demotion conditions, and Summoner's star limitations, detailed in the chart below.

With these mechanic being added, the Battleground will be more competitive, bringing “fair and square” competition to each and every players.

A glimpse into Arena Rewards for 2024:

In 2023, an average of 145,500 SAEs were distributed per season, constituting about 0.4% of the total SAE supply for the year.

From January 2024, we are adjusting the SAE emission rate, aiming to bring it down to 0.2% of the total supply, resulting in the exact number of 873,392 SAEs on the line for Arena rewards.

The percentage of the total SAE reward allocated to each rank will remain unchanged, while the battle-ending and seasonal ASG rewards will be reduced by 20% (in comparison to 2023’s rewards).

Refer to the table below for detailed quarterly adjustments and our Gitbook for a comprehensive breakdown for each rank.

Why the Change?

SAE is the life force of SA World, akin to energy in our universe. It powers actions, influences existence, and is the cornerstone of SA World's foundation. As SAE becomes scarcer, its acquisition becomes more challenging yet more rewarding.

Holders of SAE will enjoy exclusive privileges as more use cases are introduced throughout the year. The scarcity of SAE will also extend to the NFT supply in SA World and Summoners Arena: Idle RPG, impacting hero summoning and NFT creation, both of which will require SAE.

During "Moonlight Showdown," you'll face off against two formidable bosses: Lass Hou Yi, a 7-star boss, and the even tougher Moon Festival Grimm, rated at 8-stars. As defeating them give a lot of precious drops, your goal is in the event is to participate in as many boss fights as possible, and claim victory against them.

But there’s much more than just that. Come with us and you will find out!

Get to know new items

Can you imagine a Mid-Autumn Festival without mooncakes? We certainly can't! But Mooncakes are just one of the five new items featured in this event, and we're about to unveil them all. Ready? Here they are:

• 7-star boss ticket: Each ticket lets you challenge Lass Hou Yi.

• 8-star boss ticket: Each ticket grants you the chance to face off against Moon Festival Grimm.

• Mooncake: Enjoy Mooncakes to unlock various rewards, including precious equipment boxes.

• Mooncake Box: Open Mooncake boxes to reveal various rewards, including precious equipment boxes.

Activities and rewards

Hou Yi sun-shooting - Boss fights

Win various rewards by defeating the two bosses, Lass Hou Yi and Moon Festival Grimm. While they are quite strong, you have an army of powerful heroes at your disposal, so don't hesitate to challenge the bosses.

Each day, you'll receive 2 free 7-star boss tickets. Additionally, you can purchase up to 3 more at the prices of 25, 50, and 100 ASG, respectively. As for the 8-star boss tickets, they are available for purchase at a fixed price of 250 ASG, and you can buy them as many times as you like.

Also, it’s worth noting that:

• Boss tickets are required for entry (7-star for Lass Hou Yi, 8-star for Moon Festival Grimm).

• Each boss has 4 difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Chaos. Higher difficulties unlock after defeating the lower ones.

• Different bosses and difficulties offer unique drops. Defeat Lass Hou Yi to obtain Mooncakes, and for Moon Festival Grimm, you'll get Mooncake Boxes. Higher difficulties yield more rewards.

• When facing Lass Hou Yi, you have a pool of 47 formidable 7-star heroes to choose from. If your battle is against Moon Festival Grimm, you can select from a pool of 19 powerful 8-star heroes.

Not only marks the official debut of the equipment system in Summoners Arena: Idle RPG, “The Alchemist” event is also a precious opportunity for Summoners to accquire equipment and other various resources.

During the event, you'll be the great Alchemist who uses the "Hammer" to craft equipment from stones. Climb the leaderboard of the most skilled craftmen in Summonia by crafting as much equipment as possible.

On the other hand, this is the perfect time for Summoners to strengthen your heroes and enrich your arsenal. So, you definitely do not want to miss this opportunity!

Get to know new items (and where to get them)

Surprise, surprise! There are three new items making their debut with “The Alchemist” event. These items play vital roles in acquiring and enhancing your equipment, including:

Hammer:

As you may have seen in a previous video, Hammers are the key to craft equipment boxes, which contain valuable equipment for Summoners.

How to obtain:

In “The Alchemist” event, Summoners can obtain Hammers from different sources, including:

1. Clear stages in Campaign

2. Daily Quests

3. Buying through in-app purchases.

4. Idle rewards. Details:

• Stages in Normal difficulty: 1 Hammer every 4 hours

• Stages in Hard difficulty: 2 Hammers every 4 hours

• Stages in Extreme difficulty: 3 Hammers every 4 hours

• Stages in Nightmare difficulty: 4 Hammers every 4 hours

• Stages in Crazy difficulty and above: 6 Hammers every 4 hours

Aqua Shards:

To upgrade your equipment from level 2/5/8 to level 3/6/9, you'll need Aqua Shards.

How to obtain:

In “The Alchemist” event, Aqua Shards act as login rewards and final ranking rewards. Make sure you login everyday and give it your best shot to climb to the top of the event’s leaderboard.

Flame Shards:

For those aiming to take their equipment from level 11/14 to level 12/15, Flame Shards are the key.

How to obtain:

In “The Alchemist” event, Flame Shards act as login rewards and final ranking rewards. Make sure you login everyday and give it your best shot to climb to the top of the event’s leaderboard.

Quick Note:

• The higher the equipment level, the more Shards the upgrading process consumes.

• Both successful and failed upgrade attempts will consume Shards.

How to join:

During the event period, Summoners who login daily will receive generous rewards of Ancient Medals, Equipment Boxes, Aqua & Flame Shards.

• 1st day: 1 Common Equipment Box

• 2nd day: 10 Aqua Shards

• 3rd day: 10 Flame Shards

• 4th day: 1500 Ancient Medal

• 5th day: 10 Aqua Shards

Main Event

“The Alchemist” event is now live in Summoners Arena: Idle RPG's official version. This event offers Summoners the opportunity to acquire numerous pieces of equipment by crafting them with “Hammers,” thereby strengthening their heroes.

How to join:

Summoners need to collect “Hammers” from the Campaign, idle rewards, complete daily quests or purchase them with ASG to craft as much equipment as possible.

The Alchemist event itself is pretty much straight-forward. However, for each time you use Hammer to try and craft equipment, the outcomes will be different. The details are being shown below:

Overall, the more times you craft, the more “skilled” you become. At a certain point, this skill will increase your chances of obtaining more valuable rewards from “The Alchemist” event, including Epic and Legend Equipment Boxes.

Note: All equipment boxes are level 1 and have a 1-star rating

Rewards details:

A leaderboard will be available to honor the most skilled craftmen of Summonia. Beside that, the top 50 craftmen with the most crafting attempts will be rewarded with various unique and valuable rewards, including:

• Top 1: 1 Special Avatar & Border (The Alchemist’s limited edition) + 300 Aqua Shards + 300 Flame Shards +  6 Legend Equipment Boxes.

Wondering how to join these activities and win precious Equipment? It’s very simple:

Step 2: Login to the game using SA Account and click on “New” to process further.

Step 3: Receive all the resources in your in-game mail.

Step 4: Summon your first Heroes, gear them up as you prepare your team for battles.

How to complete Quests and obtain Active Points

The Game Center is finally back! Fun and games aside, this is your chance to collect more Active Points to exchange for SA Idle resources (Beta version), or spend them to spin the Lucky Wheel. Follow these simple steps to start collecting Active Points:

Step 1: Login and access the Game Center at https://gamecenter-beta.saworld.io/

Step 2: Navigate to “Quests” on the left bar to see available quests.

Unlike the previous beta version, only quests that relate to Summoners Arena: Idle RPG are available this time. And of course, you need to download and install the game to complete these quests. Therefore, the next steps include:

Step 3: Download Summoners Arena: Idle RPG here https://s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/files.saworld/sapbe-0.1.6-saas.apk

Step 4: Login to the game using your registered SA Account and click “New”

Step 5: You can now start processing further at your own will and complete the corresponding quests.

These quests might be challenging but they also give well worth rewards for your effort. Make sure to complete all quests to collect as many Active Points as possible and use them at your own will.

Rules

• Hero Transfer is disabled during the beta test. Once a hero is transferred, it will no longer be usable or available in the target account.

• The remaining Active Points from this beta test version will be added to the previous ones and transferred to the official version of the game. The transfer rate will be announced at a later date.

• Only transactions (withdraw/deposit) between SA Account and SA Idle are allowed.

• All previous data has been reset, and Summoners will need to create new accounts to participate in this event.

• This in a beta test version, therefore resources have no value in the official version of the game (except for the rewards of the event, and Active Points)

• The beta test version of the game is available to all players, and everyone is eligible to join.

• Each account is allowed to create a maximum of 10 Citizens.

• Resources from the Game Center can only be used on the account you linked with your SA Account.

• Each account in the official version of the game is eligible to receive rewards from a single activity. To receive rewards from multiple activities, kindly provide more player IDs.

• To ensure a smooth rewards delivery process, we will be contacting you via your registered email to confirm your information. As the first order of business in 2023, we would like to extend our gratitude for your warm and hearty support for Summoners Arena: Idle RPG and our team in 2022. Thank you for sharing the time with us through Beta, seven long Mainnet Arena seasons and the exciting journey to come in 2023!

In the upcoming months, we’re announcing the release of several new changes for Summonia: a new PvP game mode, a Summoner Rework and more importantly, continue to reveal the role Summoners Arena: Idle RPG and the players play in SA World. Further details will be announced in this month’s development update so stay tuned! 

For now, let’s dive into the changes in 2023 Arena reward! 

Arena Reward 2023

In 2022, around 333,000 SAE is being emitted per season as rewards, equivalent to approximately 0.8% of the total SAE supply per year. 

In 2023, we’re looking forward to reducing the SAE emission rate for Summoners Arena: Idle RPG to 0.4% (of total supply). Arena rewards will account for the majority of this emission while the rest will come from the new PvP game mode we mentioned earlier.  

This will result in the SAE reward from Arena decreasing gradually each quarter. Season 8 (Jan 2023) SAE reward will remain the same and changes will take effect starting Season 9. 

In other words, Arena rewards will be adjusted for the first time starting Season 9 (Feb 2023) and at the beginning of every quarter (Season 11 - April 2023; Season 14 - July 2023; Season 17 - October 2023). 

The percentage of the total reward that each rank receives (e.g, The Champion will still receive approximately 5.4% of the total SAE reward per season) and ASG reward will remain unchanged.

Why the change?

SAE plays an essential role in structuring the foundation of SA World. Think of energy, the universe and its beings require energy to perform any kind of work, from picking up your phone, walking or in more generic terms, affecting the status of something in existence. In SA World, SAE plays the role of energy and hence, without SAE, there would be no “life” on SA World. 

With great power comes great scarcity. Over time, SAE will become much harder yet more rewarding to acquire. SAE holders are sure to be granted exclusive privileges as more use cases will be introduced this year. 

The NFT supply in SA World and Summoners Arena Idle RPG specifically will also grow scarcer by reflecting the scarcity of SAE, since summoning Heroes and creating NFTs in SA World WILL both require SAE. 

Economy-wise, this change will greatly assist in easing the compounding effect among wealth holders in SA World in the long run while reasonably rewarding early supporters and holders. Meaning, this shift in the Arena reward still gives incoming players opportunities to earn SAE and at the same time, Summoners Arena’s first advocates are still ensured fair privileges. The Arena reward change will also help keep the SAE supply change rate within the safety benchmarks to prevent hyperinflation later on.
